A little about me...
Hello. My name is Shanda Wagner and this is my first year at Tillamook Junior High School, I am very excited! I graduated Rainier High School in 2004 after spending most of my childhood in the small town. My undergraduate degree in Social Sciences was earned at Washington State University, then I moved on to a masters degree from Western Kentucky in Sports Administration, and most recently a masters in teaching from George Fox University in April of 2015. Once winter rolls around I will be coaching the high school varsity girls basketball program. I have a son in first grade who is very excited to meet new friends and explore his new town. We are very active and have already found a few favorite spots in Tillamook!
Education is a passion of mine. I believe everyone should be able to work to their full potential and I will do everything in my power to help a student believe in, and find, their potential. This year my students will be reading...a lot. They will be expected to read at least 20 minutes, five days a week, outside of class. Reading will be an important part of their educational careers, I want them to be as prepared as possible.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
